We were treated to a short video clip of the fantastic range for activities we offered to out young people during last year and of course that will continue.
My personal thanks to Keith Morton as he stepped down from the role of Chairman, which he held for the past six years and on behalf of the District I was delighted to present Keith with a silver thanks badge. Reports followed with kind words from our County Guest Sam Marshall ensuring that scouting in Nuneaton is truly open for business, also from Angie Goldney on the financial position of the District. Ending with some words of thanks and encouragement from out outgoing chair, and then remarks from myself about our successes over the year and the achievements of our young people, at all levels and our challenges for the future:
· Continue to create a positive impact in our community.
· Continue to work with and develop the skills of our young people and continue to engage them in our planning.
· To grow and offer fun and challenging adventure (growth target 5%)
