Explorer Belt: Germany 2014

Nuneaton District Explorer Belt 2014 is an Explorer Belt expedition to Germany. It will take place from the weekend of the 9th August until the 23rd August 2014.
The Explorer Belt is the challenge of a lifetime, which in this case is open to members of the Scout movement who are between 18 and 25 years old from Nuneaton District. It is a chance to take part in a ten day expedition that brings a real understanding of a different country, its people and way of life.
If you want to know more there will be an Explorer Belt taster evening on Wednesday 25th September 2013. Details to follow.
The cost of Explorer Belt 2014 will be £500.
What do you get for your money?
Training weekend on the 12th - 13th April 2014
An evening briefing meeting (January/February)
Support from the date you register to the post expedition presentation from an experienced team
Regular pre-expedition communication/newsletters
A T-shirt and UK neckerchief
Transport to and from Nuneaton to Expedition Arena Insurance
Pre and post expedition food and accommodation
Budget for the expedition as well as gas and maps
24 hour support team while on the expedition
Final day activity
Post expedition assessment
Up to 2 weeks abroad

Personal kit and equipment
The belt itself (funding may be available for these)
